LIFT, CLEAN AND PLACE
By Fred Decasperis

The 2011 PGA Championship was an extra special tournament for me to watch for a couple of reasons. First of all, I had a chance to go back and watch the tournament live on the same course that just three years ago I had the great fortune to tee it up and play on.
Secondly, it was a lot of fun watching rookie Keegan Bradley win his first major championship employing the same principles that Doctor Bob Rotella taught me when I stayed at his house in Charlottesville, Virginia.

Wayne and Nick are about to have a discussion over a ball resting on the wrong green as they compete in their golf league. Both were safely in the fairway when Wayne hit a huge slice over some distant trees.
When he arrived at his ball he found it on the green of an adjacent hole. Wayne called to Nick and said, “Even though I have a clear shot back to our flag, I don’t believe I can hit the ball from this green. What do I do now?”
How should Wayne play it?
