Ordinarily, the annual Chili Buns tournament at Eagle Crest Golf Club in Clifton Park could be spelled Chilly Buns. Because of the weather this time of year, it would refer to your cold derriere. However, this year it really did mean spicy beans and sandwiches.
With that in mind, the Chili Bun’s 3-club tournament played Sunday, October 22, found Dylan Tate as the spiciest golfer in the Open division. He shot 77 to beat past champions Bill Paulsen, Jr. by three, and Jerry Brescia by six.
In the Net division, Tom Seiter won with 74.
77: Dylan Tate
80: Bill Paulsen Jr.
83: Jerry Brescia
