Saratoga Spa – Golf Galaxy Tour attracts best area amateurs

Saratoga Spa event: Despite the rainy day in Saratoga it was still a good day for golf.  We had a fair turn-out with 14 players participating and although the rain was tough, everyone turned in some great scores and an enjoyable time was had by all.

A special congratulations to the team of Chris Haggert and Kyle Armstrong who won with an amazing team score of 67. Our Day Games were also a success with big winners Michael Sollecito, Kyle Armstrong, and Steve Kirchner for our three Closest to the Pin contests.  Steve had an amazing shot on the 15th coming within 4 feet 9 inches from the hole!  Nick Silvano (silver tee) Michael Sollecito (blue tee) and Danielle Rowe (gold tee) were the winners in the Longest Drive competition on hole 12.  Way to go everyone and good luck at Eagle Crest!

What a beautiful day for the first Golf Galaxy Golf Tour held at Orchard Creek Golf Course in Altamont! We had a fantastic turn-out with 30 players participating and although the wind was a definite factor, everyone turned in some great scores and an enjoyable time was had by all.

A special congratulations to the team of William Schumann and Danielle Rowe who won the first event with the best team score of 75. Our Day Games were also a success with big winners Steve Kirchner winning Longest Putt/Closest to the Pin (hole 15) and Nick Silvano winning Longest Drive/Closest to the Pin (hole 8). Mike Sollecito and Robin Raco also each won Closest to the Pin contests (hole 6 and 11). Way to go everyone and good luck at Saratoga!
